The Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association (SCAORA) has announced the formation of a dedicated panel of translators to assist in the translation of vernacular documents required in pleadings before the Supreme Court. The initiative, launched pursuant to the Supreme Court’s order dated 18 March 2025, aims to address issues arising from incorrect or defective translations. Translators on the panel must certify the accuracy of their translations and will be available at a fixed rate of ₹100 per legal-size page.
