The Supreme Court of India, granted bail to the accused during the pendency of his appeal. The Bench comprising Justice M.M. Sundresh and Justice Satish Chandra Sharma noted the significant period of incarceration already undergone by the accused and observed that his co-accused had been granted bail earlier.
Taking these factors into account, the Court allowed the appeal and directed that the accused be released on bail subject to terms and conditions imposed by the Trial Court. The Court clarified that the bail shall remain operative until the final disposal of the appeal.
