The Vijay Sondhi Foundation has been launched by Mr. Ajay Sondhi, with the support of Mr. Avinash K. Sharma, in memory of his elder brother, Late Shri Vijay K. Sondhi, to carry forward his commitment to justice.
The Foundation aims to support young lawyers and law students and create opportunities for emerging voices in the legal profession.
As part of this initiative, the inaugural Vijay Sondhi Memorial Championship will recognise outstanding entries with cash prizes. Advocates with less than five years of experience can win ₹25,000, ₹15,000, and ₹5,000 for the top three positions, while 4th and 5th-year law students are eligible for ₹5,100, ₹4,100, and ₹3,100.
