The Supreme Court today issued a notice to the Election Commission of India (ECI) on a petition filed by the Kerala Government, requesting a deferment of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the State until the conclusion of local body elections.
A bench comprising Justices Surya Kant, SVN Bhatti, and Joymalya Bagchi scheduled the matter for hearing on November 26.
