The All India Lawyers’ Forum (AILF), in collaboration with the Indian Law Institute (ILI), is set to host a National Seminar on “Role of Artificial Intelligence in Legal System” on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, from 4:15 PM to 6:30 PM, at the Indian Law Institute, opposite the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi.
The seminar will be presided over by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Bindal, Judge, Supreme Court of India, and will feature an address by Mr. R. Venkataramani, Attorney General for India, who will be the Guest of Honour.
Prof. Dr. V.K. Ahuja, Director, Indian Law Institute, will also address the gathering, alongside distinguished members and office bearers of AILF, including Dr. Vinod Kumar Goyal, Advocate and Chairman, AILF; Mr. Vikas Verma, Ex-AAG, Government of Haryana; Mr. Durgesh Gupta, General Secretary, AILF; Ms. Yogamaya M.G., former Executive Member, Supreme Court Bar Association; and Ms. Pragya Parijat Singh, Advocate-on-Record and Executive Member, SCAORA.
The seminar will explore the evolving intersection of Artificial Intelligence and the legal system, with discussions expected to cover constitutional implications, algorithmic governance, regulatory challenges, and the role of AI in judicial and legal processes. A dedicated segment will also delve into “Artificial Intelligence and Constitutional Validity,” addressing issues such as algorithmic bias, privacy, equality, accountability, and the need for robust oversight mechanisms to ensure that AI remains compliant with constitutional safeguards.
Open to members of the legal fraternity, scholars, and students, the event aims to facilitate informed discourse on how India’s legal framework can adapt to emerging technologies while upholding fundamental constitutional values. Participation certificates will be issued to all attendees.
