The Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (APCAM), in association with the Indian Institute of Arbitration & Mediation (IIAM), is pleased to announce the 2nd APCAM International Metaverse Mediation Competition (AIMMC), scheduled to be held virtually on 7–8 March 2026.

Following the resounding success of the 1st edition, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 32 national and international teams, the second edition aims to further strengthen experiential learning in mediation and negotiation through a virtual platform.

APCAM is a leading international Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) institution comprising prominent arbitration and mediation centres across the Asia-Pacific region, committed to promoting global ADR standards through professional training, uniform rules, and cross-border collaboration. IIAM, as the APCAM Centre in India, continues to play a pivotal role in advancing ADR education and practice.

The AIMMC provides students with a unique opportunity to participate in professionally structured, realistic mediation sessions, enhancing practical mediation skills, negotiation strategies, advocacy techniques, and cross- cultural dispute resolution understanding.

• Mode: Virtual

• Competition Dates: 7–8 March 2026

• Last Date for Registration: 20 February 2026

• Eligibility: Participation is limited to students pursuing their Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) and Postgraduate. Maximum Two teams from the same university are allowed.

• Individuals from various institutions can apply as a Cross-Institutional

Registration Fees:

The registration fee for all overseas teams is USD 50. For Indian teams, a registration fee of INR 4,500 shall be charged.

Time Limit:

The time limit will be 75 minutes for the preliminary rounds and 135 minutes for the Semi-Final and Final Rounds.
