AZB & Partners acted as legal counsel to RTX Corporation in connection with the USD 1.8 billion (approx. INR 155 billion) sale of Collins Aerospace’s Actuation and Flight Control businesses, including Collins Aerospace’s Indian entity, to Safran SA and Safran Electronics & Defense Services India Private Limited (Safran India).
The transaction was completed on July 21, 2025, and marks a significant strategic divestiture for RTX Corp. The acquisition strengthens Safran’s capabilities in high-performance flight control systems and deepens its presence in the aerospace sector globally and in India.
AZB & Partners advised RTX Corp on the Indian leg of the transaction, including the transfer of the Indian business unit to Safran India.
