The Bombay High Court has sought a reply from the Maharashtra Government within two weeks on a writ petition filed by Satish Salian, father of Disha Salian, former manager of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, in connection with her 2020 death.
In his plea, Satish Salian has alleged that his daughter was raped and murdered, and that her death was falsely portrayed as a suicide as part of a larger political and institutional cover-up. He has demanded a CBI investigation, citing tampering of forensic evidence, fabricated police reports, and the involvement of high-profile individuals.
The Court has issued notices to the State and other respondents and has directed them to file their responses within the stipulated time.
