In a move to strengthen its digital infrastructure and improve accessibility, Chief Justice of India BR Gavai announced on Friday that free public Wi-Fi will now be available throughout the main building of the Supreme Court of India. Previously limited to courtrooms and a few adjoining areas, the facility can now be accessed by lawyers, law officers, litigants, and court staff across the entire premises via a simple authentication process.
The CJI expressed hope that this expansion will benefit both the Bar and visitors to the Court.
