The Delhi High Court has directed the removal of allegedly defamatory content published by Tamil magazine Nakkheeran against Isha Foundation, founded by Jaggi Vasudev.
Justice Subramonium Prasad passed an interim order in favour of the foundation and declined to entertain Nakkheeran’s application under Order VII Rule 11 CPC seeking rejection of the suit.
The Isha Foundation has sought ₹3 crore in damages, alleging that defamatory articles and videos were published and circulated online. It has also arrayed Google LLC as a party, citing the availability of such content through Google Search and on YouTube.
