The Delhi High Court on Tuesday directed that a petition challenging the empanelment of lawyers to represent the Central Government be treated as a formal representation. The Ld. Solicitor General submitted that while some facts stated in the petition were correct, others were incorrect; nonetheless, the Central Government would examine all issues raised.
The Court granted eight weeks to ascertain the factual position and three months for taking appropriate action.
