The Delhi High Court on Thursday refused to grant bail to former Aam Aadmi Party councillor Tahir Hussain, accused in the murder of Intelligence Bureau officer Ankit Sharma during the February 2020 northeast Delhi riots.
Justice Neena Bansal Krishna dismissed Hussain’s plea, noting the gravity of allegations. The victim’s body was found in a drain with multiple stab injuries, and the Delhi Police chargesheet attributes his death to accused’s alleged role in the violence.
