A bench of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vikas Mahajan of the Delhi High Court issued notice today on a plea filed by a DNB trainee doctor from Gangaram Hospital challenging the lack of revaluation in the DNB final examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
Represented by Advocate Ms. Tanvi Dubey, the Petitioner argued that discrepancies in the evaluation of her answer sheets highlight the absence of a transparent mechanism, since current rules permit revaluation only for unattempted questions. The plea emphasizes that she is not seeking grace marks but merely an option for revaluation, citing judicial precedents affirming transparency as central to examination processes.
The Court directed NBE to file its response and listed the matter for 29 August 2025.
