Rohini Court, Delhi, has heard the transit anticipatory bail applications filed by Luthara Brothers, Gaurav Luthra and Saurabh Luthra, in connection with an FIR registered at Anjuna Police Station, Goa, for offences under Sections 105/125/125(a)/125(b)/287 read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS). The Luthra brothers are the proprietors of Birch by Romeo Lane in Arpora, Goa, where a recent fire claimed 25 lives
The State of Goa, through its counsel, sought seven days to file a detailed reply, stating that they had received the application only on the date of the hearing and that counsel handling the matter was unwell. The applicants did not oppose the adjournment but requested interim relief.
Allowing time to the State, the court adjourned the matter to December 11, 2025, while directing that the case be taken up at 2:00 PM after both sides agreed to the change in timing.
