The Gujarat High Court extended the temporary bail granted to self-styled godman Asaram Bapu until July 7 in connection with a 2013 rape case.
A Division Bench comprising Justices Ilesh Vora and Sandeep Bhatt passed the order while hearing a plea seeking additional time to submit the necessary documents. Asaram was initially granted three months’ temporary bail on March 28, which was set to expire on June 30.
