The Indian Council of Arbitration (ICA) will host a landmark symposium titled “Where Women Lead, Justice Follows” on 07 March 2026 at Commission Hall, 3rd Floor, Federation House, 1 Tansen Marg, New Delhi. The event, beginning at 4:00 PM, will bring together distinguished women leaders from the judiciary, legal profession, corporate governance, and public service to celebrate and advance the role of women in strengthening institutions and justice systems.
The symposium underscores the belief that when women lead, institutions evolve and justice is fortified. Conceived as a largely women-led and women-attended dialogue, the gathering aims to foster meaningful conversations on leadership, equity, and systemic transformation.
The Keynote Address will be delivered by Hon’ble Ms. Justice B. V. Nagarathna of the Supreme Court of India, whose judicial contributions continue to shape constitutional discourse in the country. The Special Address will be presented by Hon’ble Ms. Justice Mini Pushkarna of the Delhi High Court.
The Opening Address will be delivered by Ms. Poonam Sharma, National President of FICCI FLO, highlighting the growing influence of women in industry and public life.
A central feature of the symposium will be a panel discussion on “Breaking Barriers: Gender Diversity in the Legal Profession – Challenges & Opportunities.” The session will be moderated by Dr. Pinky Anand, Former Additional Solicitor General and Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India.

The symposium celebrates women who have broken barriers, reshaped governance frameworks, and strengthened dispute resolution mechanisms. By spotlighting their journeys and insights, ICA seeks to reaffirm its commitment to inclusive leadership within arbitration and beyond.
The event will be held at Federation House and is open to legal professionals, corporate leaders, academics, and students upon prior registration.
