The Ministry of Law and Justice has issued a notification transferring Justice Atul Sreedharan, Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, to the Allahabad High Court. The notification, dated October 18, 2025, was issued under Article 222(1) of the Constitution of India after consultation with the Chief Justice of India.

The Supreme Court Collegium had earlier, in August 2025, recommended Justice Sreedharan’s transfer to the Chhattisgarh High Court. The latest notification, however, directs him to assume charge as a Judge of the Allahabad High Court.
