CJI Justice Surya Kant nominates Justice JK Maheshwari, Judge Supreme Court of India as the Chairperson of the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee (SCLSC). The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) issued a Gazette notification on November 24 announcing the nomination.
The appointment has been made by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant under the powers vested in him by Section 3A of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987.
