Hon’ble Shri Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva was sworn in as the Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on 17th July, 2025, marking a significant moment in the judicial landscape of the state. The oath of office was administered by the Governor of Madhya Pradesh at a formal ceremony, attended by senior judges, legal luminaries, government officials, and members of the Bar.
Justice Sachdeva previously served as a judge of the Delhi High Court and is widely respected for his judicial clarity, integrity, and commitment to upholding the rule of law. With his elevation, he succeeds Justice Ravi Malimath upon his retirement.
His tenure as Chief Justice is expected to usher in a phase of judicial efficiency and institutional strengthening in the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
