MP High Court Issues Notice on PIL Challenging Appointment of Law Officers in Advocate General’s Office

MP High Court PIL

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued notice on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) challenging the newly released list of law officers appointed in the Advocate General’s office. A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva and Justice Vinay Saraf directed the State Government and the Advocate General’s office to file their replies, including responses concerning all newly appointed lawyers.

The Bench also permitted the plea moved by Madhya Pradesh High Court Bar Association Chairman, DK Jain, which questions the inclusion of lawyers from other states in the appointment list.
