The Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued notices to OP Jindal Global University, the University Grants Commission (UGC), and the Bar Council of India (BCI) on a plea alleging that the university offered admissions to its LLB (Hons) course without the mandatory recognition.
The petitioner claims that the institution “fraudulently” admitted students despite lacking approval to run the programme.
The next date of hearing is December 16, 2025.
