Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM) advised Tata Steel Limited (“TSL”) with respect to its acquisition of a stake representing 50.01% of the equity share capital of Thriveni Pellets Private Limited (“TPPL”) from Thriveni Earthmovers Private Limited, for a consideration of upto INR 636 crore, subject to closing adjustments.

The deal is a strategic transaction intended to create long-term value for TSL.
