Supreme Court Hears Plea Seeking Transparency in NEET-PG Examination; Next Hearing Scheduled Post August 3, 2025

A Division Bench of the Supreme Court comprising Justice K. Vinod Chandran and Justice N.V. Anjaria heard a petition challenging the lack of transparency in the NEET-PG examination process. The plea, represented by Advocate Ms. Tanvi Dubey, seeks the release of the question paper and answer key to candidates, along with provisions for revaluation/rechecking in case of discrepancies in scores.

The petition also challenges Clauses 9.7 and 10.4 of the NEET-PG Information Bulletin as unconstitutional and demands mechanisms for raising objections to disputed questions. The Petitioners have urged the Court to ensure these measures apply both to the current and future examinations to uphold transparency.

After hearing the submissions, the Court directed that the matter be listed for further proceedings after August 3, 2025.
