Delhi High Court takes serious view of non-compliance with Conciliation Award; Directs GNCTD to Disclose Bank Accounts

Planetcast Media Services Ltd v. Government of NCT of Delhi [Decided on 1.07.2025]

The Delhi High Court, presided by Justice Jasmeet Singh, issued notice to the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) in response to a petition filed by Planetcast Media Services Ltd. seeking enforcement of a Conciliation Agreement dated 20 December 2024.

As per the agreement, GNCTD was required to pay ₹8.35 crore to Planetcast by 15 May 2025. The non-payment led to the filing of the enforcement petition.

The counsel for GNCTD, Mr. Pushkar Dwivedi, accepted notice and sought one week’s time to file a response or obtain instructions. The Delhi High Court took serious view of non-compliance with Conciliation Award and directed the respondents to submit details of their bank accounts before the next hearing.

The matter is now listed for further hearing on 23 July 2025.
