In a Full Court Meeting held on December 10, 2025, the Supreme Court, chaired by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, approved the designation of four retired High Court judges including two former Chief Justices as Senior Advocates.
The judges conferred with the designation are:
• Justice Abhinand Kumar Shavili, Former Judge, High Court for the State of Telangana
• Justice Pavankumar B. Bajenthri, Former Chief Justice, High Court of Judicature at Patna
• Justice Satyendra Singh Chauhan, Former Judge, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
• Justice T.S. Sivagnanam, Former Chief Justice, High Court at Calcutta
