A Delhi Court ( Karkardooma) has granted interim bail to Umar Khalid in the Delhi riots larger conspiracy case, allowing him to attend his sister’s wedding. The bail will remain in force from December 16 to 29, after which Khalid must surrender by the evening of December 29.

During this period, the Court has imposed strict conditions: Khalid is prohibited from using social media, contacting any witness, and may meet only family members, relatives, and friends. ASJ Sameer Bajpai has further directed him to remain at his home or at designated wedding ceremony venues throughout the interim release.
