Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM) is pleased to welcome Akshay Sachthey, who has rejoined the Firm as Partner, in the General Corporate Practice in Delhi.

Akshay brings over 10 years of experience advising on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions, inbound and outbound investment transactions, commercial contracts, and regulatory work, with a particular focus on the insurance and reinsurance sector.

His experience cuts across diverse sectors including insurance, healthcare, retail, fintech, real estate, gaming, and IT/ITeS. He routinely advises Indian and international clients, including listed entities and Fortune 500 companies, on complex cross-border transactions, strategic investments, and regulatory mandates.

Prior to this, Akshay was associated with a fintech platform, where he led legal for global mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments, as well as the prepaid solutions business across multiple jurisdictions.

He holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics and an LL.B. (Hons.) from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi.
