Rubal Bansal Maini, Partner, Direct Taxation, Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, New Delhi, is leaving the Firm to set up her independent chamber practice under the name RBM Law Chambers. Her practice at RBM Law Chambers will focus on taxation and allied laws.
Rubal has over 16 years of experience in taxation and related laws, with a practice involving Income Tax, International Tax, Benami Law, the Black Money Act and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. She has represented and advised Fortune 500 companies and high-net-worth individuals before the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court and other High Courts, Income Tax Appellate Tribunals across the country and the Appellate Tribunal under the Prevention of Benami Property Transactions Act.
Before joining Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, Maini worked as a Law Researcher with Justice R. V. Easwar (Retd.), former Judge of the Delhi High Court, and as Counsel with Balbir Singh, Senior Advocate, former Additional Solicitor General of India and former Senior Standing Counsel for the Income Tax Department before the Delhi High Court.
