Kochhar & Co. has announced the appointment of Ganesh Chandru as Senior Partner in its Chennai office, marking a significant addition to the firm’s arbitration and dispute resolution practice. In his new role, Chandru will work closely with the firm’s offices across India, including New Delhi, as well as its Dubai office, to further strengthen Kochhar & Co.’s pan-India arbitration and litigation capabilities, with a particular emphasis on international arbitration.
A seasoned arbitration and litigation practitioner with over three decades of experience, Chandru has represented and advised clients in domestic and cross-border disputes across a wide range of sectors. His international arbitration practice spans proceedings seated in India as well as before leading arbitral institutions and prominent arbitration hubs, including Singapore, London and Dubai.
