Khaitan & Co has announced the appointment of Pratik Thakkar as Counsel in its Dispute Resolution and White Collar Crime practices at the firm’s Mumbai office.

With over 14 years of experience, Thakkar advises clients across diverse sectors including e-commerce, logistics, banking and finance, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, real estate, and media. He has been recognised as a recommended lawyer by leading legal publications for his expertise in dispute resolution and investigations.

A seasoned practitioner in white-collar defence, Thakkar has represented clients in dawn raids, investigations, and proceedings involving law enforcement agencies, including responding to regulatory summons. His induction is expected to significantly strengthen Khaitan & Co’s growing White Collar Crime practice.

An avid sports enthusiast, Thakkar’s addition further expands the firm’s white-collar capabilities in Mumbai, where the practice now comprises two partners and one counsel, making it one of the largest dedicated White Collar Crime teams in the country.
