The Bihar Government has appointed Senior Advocate S.D. Sanjay (Satyadarshi Sanjay) as the Advocate General for the State of Bihar under Article 165(1) of the Constitution of India.
According to the notification issued by the Law Department, Government of Bihar, the appointment has been made by the Governor of Bihar and will take effect from the date on which S.D. Sanjay assumes office.
S.D. Sanjay is a senior advocate practising before the Patna High Court and succeeds Prashant Kumar Shahi.
