Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM) advised the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on the proposed investment comprising of a IFC own-account US$ denominated, senior, unsecured loan facility of up to US$500 million, with a tenor of up to seven years, to Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). IFC’s debt proceeds will be utilized by SIDBI for directly lending to MSMEs and for MSME refinance facilities to financial institutions.
