The Delhi High Court on Monday allowed urgent listing of a public interest litigation concerning the building collapse incident in Satya Niketan in South Delhi, in which six people were killed and several others injured.

The matter was mentioned before a Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tejas Karia. A lawyer sought urgent hearing, informing the Court that two buildings had collapsed in the area and that around 30 students were feared trapped under the debris.

The Bench allowed the matter to be listed for hearing during the day.
