The Central Government has notified the appointment of Justice Meenakshi Madan Rai, a judge of the Sikkim High Court, as the Chief Justice of the Patna High Court. The appointment comes pursuant to the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium and takes effect from the date she assumes charge of office.
