The Karnataka Government has appointed advocates Omar Hoda and Kunal Vajani as Additional Advocates General for Karnataka before the Supreme Court of India, with immediate effect. The appointments were made through a notification issued by the Law, Justice and Human Rights Department on June 19, 2026, in exercise of powers under Article 162 of the Constitution. Both appointees will represent the State of Karnataka in proceedings before the apex court until further orders.
