A Bengaluru Special Court on April 15 sentenced Dharwad Congress MLA and former minister Vinay Kulkarni and 15 others to life imprisonment in connection with the murder of BJP leader Yogishgouda Goudar.

Special Court Judge Santhosh Gajanan Bhat pronounced the quantum of sentence awarding life terms to Kulkarni and other accused in the case.

The sentence for the crime was pronounced by special court judge Santosh Gajanan Bhat.
