The Second SILF-VIAC Conference, themed “Nurturing Reliable Partnerships amidst Trade Wars, Sanctions and Geopolitical Hurdles,” is scheduled to be held on September 12 in New Delhi, bringing together senior judges, leading advocates, arbitration practitioners, in-house counsel and international legal experts to discuss emerging challenges in cross-border dispute resolution. The conference will be held at The Lalit Hotel.
The conference will feature an inaugural session followed by two substantive discussions focusing on the changing landscape of international arbitration and cross-border litigation. The programme will begin with a networking breakfast, followed by opening remarks by Manjula Chawla, Managing Partner, Phoenix Legal, and an address by Dr. Lalit Bhasin, President, Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF).
Justice Tejas Karia of the Delhi High Court, the Chief Guest, is scheduled to deliver the keynote address. The inaugural session will also feature special addresses by Dr. Akhil Prasad, Board Member, Country Counsel India and Company Secretary, Boeing, and Dr. Alexander Petsche, Managing Partner, Baker McKenzie Vienna and VIAC Board Member.
