Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM) acted as Indian legal counsel to NextGen Invent Corporation and NGI Ventures Private Limited in connection with their acquisition by Straive, a global Data & AI operationalization solutions provider and a portfolio company of EQT.

The transaction involved the acquisition of 100% of the equity interests in NextGen Invent Corporation and NGI Ventures Private Limited by Straive. The deal marks a strategic addition to Straive’s capabilities in the rapidly evolving Data & AI ecosystem and strengthens its ability to deliver enterprise AI solutions across global markets.

NextGen Invent is a technology and engineering services company with expertise in artificial intelligence, data engineering and digital transformation. Through the acquisition, Straive aims to expand its offerings across Generative AI, Agentic AI, cloud modernization and industry-specific AI solutions, while leveraging NextGen Invent’s engineering capabilities to accelerate enterprise AI adoption.
