Anchoring this new chapter is the onboarding of Mr. Manish Rajendra Mishra as Partner heading the Lucknow office. Mr. Mishra joins after a career of more than three and a half decades in the energy and infrastructure space, having held senior leadership positions at ONGC, Essar Oil, Oilex, and Indian Oil-Adani Gas. In these roles, he steered large infrastructure businesses through everything from project delivery and procurement to high-stakes commercial negotiations and regulatory approvals. Now an Advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh, he will lead Trust Legal’s Lucknow practice across Arbitration & ADR, corporate and commercial advisory, contract negotiations, regulatory matters, corporate governance, and the energy and infrastructure sector.
The firm’s expansion to Lucknow is also a result of Uttar Pradesh emerging as one of the fastest growing economic hubs in the country, rising to become the third-largest state in India by GST collections. This growth reflects the state’s expanding industrial base and also the rising volume of commercial and corporate activity. Growing economic and commercial practices of the state means growing demands for established legal counsel covering the vast field ranging from corporate regulatory compliance to dispute resolution.
