The High Court of Chhattisgarh has designated 11 advocates as Senior Advocates with immediate effect under Section 16 of the Advocates Act, 1961 and the High Court of Chhattisgarh (Designation of Senior Advocates) Rules, 2025.
The notification, issued on May 7, 2026, by Registrar General, states that the Full Court approved the designations pursuant to the Supreme Court’s judgment in Jitender @ Kalla v. State (Govt. of NCT of Delhi), 2025 INSC 249. The advocates designated as Senior Advocates are:
