A distinguished book launch event featuring two works authored by Solicitor General of India Mr Tushar Mehta is scheduled to be held today at Bharat Mandapam.

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant will preside over the function. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the event as the Chief Guest, while Attorney General for India R. Venkataramani will be present as the Guest of Honour.

The event will mark the launch of two books authored by Mehta : “The Bench, the Bar and The Bizarre” and “The Lawful and the Awful: Quirky Tales from the World of Law.” The books explore unusual, insightful, and thought-provoking anecdotes from the legal profession, offering readers a glimpse into the fascinating intersections of law, advocacy, and human experience.

The launch is expected to witness the presence of members of the judiciary, senior advocates, law officers, members of the Bar, academicians, and legal professionals from across the country.
