A Delhi Court granted bail to businessman Robert Vadra in the Enforcement Directorate’s money laundering case linked to the Shikohpur land deal.
Special Judge (PC Act) Sushant Changotra of the Rouse Avenue District Court granted bail to Vadra on furnishing a surety of ₹50,000. The ED had filed its prosecution complaint in the matter without arresting Vadra.
During the hearing, ED’s counsel Zoheb Hossain informed the court that the agency is in the process of filing a status report. He also sought two weeks’ time to place an additional status report on record after carrying out further investigation.
The ED further submitted that the order taking cognisance of the prosecution complaint has been challenged by the accused persons.
