The Delhi High Court has directed the Delhi Police to take down unauthorised video recordings showing Arvind Kejriwalarguing in court during proceedings in the excise policy case.

The videos in question pertain to Kejriwal’s appearance before Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma on April 13, where he argued his recusal application for over an hour. Posting video of court proceedings is against the Delhi High Court Rules

The Court has taken cognisance of the clips after they went viral across social media platforms shortly after the hearing. Authorities have been asked to act against everyone on all social media platforms responsible for recording and disseminating the footage.
