A new book exploring the changing role of in-house legal professionals, In-House Matters: A Complete Handbook for the Modern General Counsel, will be launched through a three-city series of events beginning this month. The launch events will bring together leading General Counsel, in-house lawyers, law firm partners, business leaders and members of the legal fraternity for discussions on the evolving responsibilities of corporate legal leaders.
The book examines how the role of the General Counsel has transformed beyond traditional legal risk management to become a strategic partner in business decision-making. Drawing on the authors’ professional experience and in-depth conversations with some of India’s most respected General Counsel, the publication offers practical insights into the realities, challenges and opportunities of modern in-house practice.
Designed as more than a conventional legal text, In-House Matters seeks to initiate a broader conversation on leadership, governance, compliance, ethics and business strategy through the lens of the in-house legal function.
The launch series will be held in Mumbai, Bengalore and Delhi.
Each event will feature the formal unveiling of the book, followed by an interactive networking session over dinner and refreshments, providing an opportunity for participants to engage with fellow General Counsel, senior practitioners and corporate legal professionals on issues shaping the future of the in-house legal profession.
