The Lok Sabha Secretariat has reconstituted a three-member committee to examine the proposal for initiating an investigation into the removal of Justice Yashwant Varma of the Allahabad High Court.

As per the notification dated February 25, 2026, the committee comprises Justice Aravind Kumar of the Supreme Court of India, Justice Shree Chandrashekhar, and B.V. Acharya. The committee has been tasked with conducting an inquiry into the grounds on which the removal of Justice Varma has been sought.
