Quadra Legal, founded by four experienced lawyers — Abhishek Adke, Himanshu Vidhani, Kaushalya Venkataraman and Vikrant Zunjarrao, has opened its offices in Mumbai and Bengaluru. Quadra Legal is a specialist commercial law firm which brings together the experience of its founding partners and their respective teams in dispute resolution, insolvency & restructuring, banking & finance, corporate (private equity, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and general advisory) and real estate.
The firm’s formation draws on two talent pipelines. Vikrant Zunjarrao and Abhishek Adke folded their established independent practices into Quadra Legal, contributing their client bases and track records in real estate and commercial litigation. Kaushalya Venkataraman and Himanshu Vidhani join as founding partners from Chandhiok & Mahajan, where they were senior members of the corporate, disputes and insolvency practices.
The four founding practices are conceived as an integrated whole, encompassing transactional advisory, dispute resolution, insolvency and restructuring, banking and finance, and real estate — each discipline designed to engage seamlessly with the others across the full arc of a client’s commercial life. Abhishek Adke brings significant experience in commercial litigation and disputes, with additional exposure to restructuring and insolvency matters. He has advised and represented clients in a range of disputes, including insolvency proceedings and connected commercial litigation. The integration of his practice into Quadra Legal brings with it an established client base and a strong track record in contentious matters. Prior to founding Quadra Legal, Abhishek practised at Legasis Partners and MDP Legal, following which he ran a boutique litigation practice for over a decade.
Himanshu Vidhani leads the Insolvency & Restructuring and Dispute Resolution practice and is recognised as a Future Star by Benchmark Litigation. His practice spans high-stakes commercial matters, including insolvency proceedings, arbitrations, shareholder conflicts, and cross-border enforcement actions across the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to founding Quadra Legal, Himanshu practised at Wadia Ghandy & Co., Khaitan & Co., and Chandhiok & Mahajan
Kaushalya Venkataraman heads the corporate practice, bringing a wealth of experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate advisory, with a focus on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. She is recognised in IFLR 1000, is ranked under ALB Asia 40 Under 40 and Legal 500.
Vikrant Zunjarrao leads the Real Estate practice, with particular distinction in title due diligence and large-scale land acquisition and aggregation in Maharashtra — spanning agricultural and non-agricultural land, multi-village aggregations, and development mandates across villa, hospitality, industrial, and institutional land bank projects. He also advises on the drafting and negotiation of real estate transaction documents including joint development agreements, development agreements, development management agreements, agreements for sale, conveyance deeds, and lease deeds. Prior to founding Quadra Legal, Vikrant practised at Legasis Partners and Khaitan & Co., following which he founded Zunjarrao & Co., a boutique real estate law firm which he successfully built and led for over a decade.
Samiksha Sisodiya also joins Quadra Legal as a partner, with a practice spanning private equity, venture capital investments, and general corporate advisory across a range of sectors.
