SC to List ISKCON Mumbai’s Review Petition in Bengaluru Temple Dispute; Counsel for Bengaluru Says Matter Deleted Four Times

ISKCON Bengaluru Temple Dispute

The Supreme Court has considered a request for listing of ISKCON Mumbai’s pending review petition in the dispute concerning the Bengaluru temple, after Kartik Seth, counsel appearing for ISKCON Bengaluru, mentioned the matter before the Court.

Counsel submitted that the Supreme Court had delivered its judgment in the dispute in May 2025, following which ISKCON Mumbai filed a review petition in July 2025. The review was subsequently listed for hearing in open court and an order was passed in December 2025. However, after being listed again before another Bench in January, the matter was deleted from the list. Counsel told the Court that the matter had been deleted four times.

Counsel sought listing of the pending review and requested constitution of a Bench to hear it, pointing out that the Bench composition had since changed.
