Supreme Court Launches ‘Su-Sahayak’ AI Chatbot for Case Status, Orders, Cause Lists and E-Services

Supreme Court AI chatbot

The Supreme Court of India has launched ‘Su-Sahayak’, an AI-powered interactive chatbot developed in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC), aimed at helping website visitors quickly access essential court-related e-services through prompt-based guidance.

According to a circular issued by the Supreme Court Registry on May 11, 2026, the chatbot has been integrated into the Supreme Court’s official website and is accessible through a chat icon on the bottom-right corner of the homepage. The Registry has also issued a user manual detailing its functionalities and usage.

The chatbot offers assistance across five primary modules, including case status, cause list, orders and judgments, e-services, and frequently asked questions. Users can retrieve case details through multiple search parameters such as diary number, case number, party name, CNR number, or details of connected High Court or district court matters.

Under the cause list feature, users can search using AOR code, diary number, party name, or case number. The chatbot also allows access to daily orders and judgments, with downloadable links provided at the end of interactions. Additionally, it offers guidance on e-services such as online appearance, RTI applications, certified copies, office reports, and other Supreme Court services.

The FAQ section addresses common queries relating to Supreme Court procedures, including court fees, limitation periods, official calendar, and virtual/hybrid hearing guidelines.
