Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), a constituent school of O.P. Jindal Global University, has announced the launch of a first-of-its-kind Pre-Law Summer Programme for high school students (Classes 9–12), to be held from 14–20 June 2026 at its campus.

The one-week, fully residential programme will be hosted at IMAANDAAR ( International Mooting Academy for Advocacy, Negotiation, Dispute Adjudication, Arbitration & Resolution) home to the world’s largest moot court facility. The programme is designed to introduce students to the interdisciplinary foundations of law, going beyond traditional mooting to include critical thinking, legal reasoning, and dispute resolution techniques.

Structured as an intensive seven-day experiential learning journey, the curriculum will engage students in:

  • Advocacy and public speaking, focusing on clarity, confidence, and persuasive communication
  • Critical thinking and legal reasoning, enabling participants to analyse issues, evaluate perspectives, and build structured arguments
  • Dispute resolution techniques, including negotiation, mediation, and arbitration through simulations and role-play exercises
  • Moot court training, introducing courtroom etiquette, case analysis, and oral advocacy

A key highlight of the programme is the Grand Moot Court & Final Showcase, where students will present arguments before expert panels, gaining first-hand exposure to legal proceedings and receiving detailed, personalised feedback.

Beyond the classroom, the programme offers a holistic learning environment through mentorship interactions, networking opportunities, and co-curricular engagements, including sports, performing arts, and collaborative activities, aimed at fostering leadership and teamwork.

JGLS noted that the initiative seeks to equip young learners with foundational legal skills, intellectual curiosity, and real-world exposure, enabling them to make informed academic and career choices at an early stage.

The programme is open to students from Classes 9 to 12, particularly those interested in exploring law, public policy, and related fields.
