The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) has issued notice on two consumer complaints filed by groups of homebuyers against Suposhaa Realcon Pvt. Ltd. and recorded the developer’s undertaking that it will not cancel the allotments of any of the complainants without obtaining prior permission of the Commission during the pendency of the proceedings.

The order was passed by a Bench comprising Justice Sudip Ahluwalia (Presiding Member) and Dr. Sadhna Shanker (Member). The Commission noted that an earlier complaint concerning the same housing project had already been admitted. Observing that the present complaints substantially raised identical grievances, the NCDRC admitted both matters and directed issuance of notice to the opposite parties. The developer has been directed to file its written version within the statutory period of 30 days from receipt of notice, following which the complainants may file their rejoinders within four weeks.

During the hearing, Senior Advocate Pinaki Misra, appearing for the opposite parties, made a statement before the Commission that his clients would not cancel the allotment of any of the complainants in the two consumer complaints without the Commission’s permission. Recording the undertaking, the Commission disposed of the pending transfer applications as infructuous in view of the issuance of notice.

The NCDRC also directed that the withdrawal applications filed in one of the complaints be taken up separately on the next date of hearing and advised the applicants to file an amended memo of parties if their request for withdrawal of names is allowed.

The matter has been listed for further hearing on October 26, 2026.
